Derek Hendrikz is the founder of orgtology and the International Orgtology Institute (IOI), a non-profit organisation that regulates the practice of orgtology and conducts research on scientific methods to work with systems and dynamics within organisations. Derek was the first registered Orgtologist and has 25 years of training and consulting experience across industries. He specialises in strategy development, organisational design, and executive coaching. He has trained more than 100,000 managers and holds tertiary and postgraduate qualifications in various fields. He also plays a leading role in the occupational training industry and was the founding member and first elected president of the Southern Africa Professional Trainers Association (SAPTA).

Muctaru is a distinguished Orgtology practitioner and scholar, boasting 25+ years of experience across diverse sectors. He has played a central role in enhancing Orgtology’s principles, collaborating with peers to rigorously evaluate and refine its concepts through seminars, research, and consultations in Southern Africa. His involvement extends beyond his professional realm, as he has actively participated in civic initiatives and co-founded the Southern Africa Professional Trainers Association. Muctaru’s expertise spans finance, strategy, and organizational dynamics, making him a catalyst for effective management and transformative change. Armed with a profound understanding of Orgtology’s framework, he offers strategic insights that contribute significantly to organizational success.

Khethiwe Tracy Gumede is a certified and experienced Orgtologist and a member of the IOI Council of Elders. In addition to Orgtology, Khethiwe is experienced in a diverse range of fields such as fundraising, lecturing, sales, digital content development, project coordination and campaign management which speaks to her adaptable nature. She enjoys interdisciplinary, integrated work which involves creative problem solving, analysis, design, technology, business, organisation and education. She has been educated up to Master’s level on 3 continents.

Heino Gates is the co-founder and CEO of Amber Digital Agency and currently an advanced student of Orgthology. With 25 years experience in working with digital media and creative interactive technologies. He spent 10+ years as lecturer and HOD at The Open Window where he helped to shape the minds of many of today’s industry leaders. He is passionate about human-computer interaction, design, and emerging technologies, like AI. Through Amber Digital, Heino currently creates and employs digital solutions that empowers business and creates value for both business and people.

Mertz is an experienced HR professional with MA and MBA degrees from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University. He has worked in various capacities in South Africa and Africa, including as an HR professional for Development Bank, Government, Financial Sector, ICT-Corporate, Regulatory (Health Sector), Mining and Private Sector. He has also served as a manager in a senior capacity for business operations and as Chairperson of the Human Resources and Remuneration Committee of ICASA. Mertz has contributed to literature through research papers on financial life skills and change management implications of retrenchment strategy in telecommunications organizations. 

Sabelo Victor Kunene is a distinguished Project Engineer and Orgtologist with over 15 years of expertise in optimizing water and wastewater treatment systems. Based in Eswatini, Sabelo has an exceptional track record in project management, infrastructure development, and innovative engineering solutions. His strategic approach and commitment to excellence have consistently delivered transformative results for organizations. Beyond his professional achievements, Sabelo is passionate about community development, mentoring future engineers through school competitions and initiatives. With a unique blend of technical proficiency and strategic insight, Sabelo is an invaluable member of the OrgXpert team, dedicated to driving sustainable success.

Dr. Moloele Timothy ‘Timmy’ Kedijang is a visionary leader and accomplished consultant specializing in organizational development and strategic transformation. With over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and a distinguished career as Vice President and General Manager of Novo Nordisk South Africa, Dr. Kedijang has a proven track record of driving excellence. Under his leadership, Novo Nordisk achieved double-digit growth, numerous industry awards, and transformation milestones, including advancing its B-BBEE rating to Level 4. A co-founder of Dimela Health and a seasoned transactional advisor, Dr. Kedijang has been instrumental in shaping large-scale projects like the establishment of a State-Owned Pharmaceutical Company and strategic realignments in South Africa’s healthcare landscape.
